Fashion powerhouse, Maeve Reilly, is heading for the aisle.

The celebrity stylist — best known for styling Hailey Bieber, Megan Fox and the D’Amelio’s — has single-handedly set trends across the world, and she is not playing when it comes to her engagement ring. But are we surprised?

Maeve is engaged to Zach Quittman, a real estate agent she met on Raya. “From the beginning, I was like, ‘These guys really do exist,‘” she explained. “He was ready. I had to work on myself. If I’m honest, I didn’t know I deserved a guy like that. I was in a funny place. I was like, ‘I’m giving up and giving this to God.’ Then my person showed up. I was opening the app to delete it and there was a message from him.” Within eight months of dating, the two were engaged.

Here’s the marquise diamond that sealed the deal.

What Does Maeve’s Engagement Ring Look Like?

Maeve’s ring is a marquise diamond in a V-setting.

Still unique as far as engagement rings go, but a style that is gathering momentum thanks to its popularity on TikTok. Marquise-cut diamonds are elongated with pointed ends, resembling the shape of a boat or football. This cut is designed to maximize the perceived size of the diamond and can create a unique and elegant look. Maeve explained that she has very long fingers, so always knew that her stone needed to be elongated to balance this out.

Marquise-cut diamonds have pointed ends, which can be vulnerable to chipping or damage if not protected properly. Because of this, Maeve’s ring uses a V-setting that provides coverage to the delicate tips of the marquise diamond, minimizing the chances of the diamond becoming loose or dislodged from the ring. The V-setting also compliments the elongated and pointed shape of the diamond diamond, while allowing for better light penetration and reflection, maximizing the stone’s brilliance and sparkle.

With Maeve’s track record as a trend setter, it’s safe to say we’ll all be opting for marquise diamonds in no-time…
